How We Test Your Speed
Download Speed
The download test is completed by sending multiple connections to one of our servers and simultaneously downloading a data file from each server, doing this multiple times, and finding the average. This will then show how your internet connection is performing at the moment the test is run.
Upload Speed
The upload test is completed after the download, doing the exact opposite, sending the same size file back to our servers, and locating the average speed our server receives the data.
Testing Ping
The ping test is a measure of the time that your connection receives a response when a request is made from us. Ping is measured in milliseconds (ms) and the lower the ping, the faster your connection responds.
Result History
Keep a copy of the test ID's or the links to compare in future, send to your ISP's or to show off your connection speeds.
